International Regulations

The personal care industry faces a myriad of regulations in foreign countries. Whether importing or manufacturing locally, countries place distinct requirements affecting the import/manufacture, sale, marketing, advertising, and registration of cosmetics and personal care products. The Council's Global Strategies Department provides guidance, advocacy, and informational resources to assist companies in navigating these complex technical regulations. The International Regulatory Database and the International Regulatory Resource Manual are just a few of the member services available to Council members.
